
OUR COMMITTEES
Most committees meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Others are scheduled as needed.

Building Committee
(Meets as needed)
This special committee meets as needed to make assessments and recommendations to the Board of Directors for any necessary maintenance, repairs, and Capital improvements to the Board Office Building.

Community Service Committee
(Meets as monthly)
This standing committee meets monthly or as needed to undertake community service projects designed to promote and enhance the REALTOR® image within the community. A sub- A committee may be formed as needed for special events. Some events Including but not limited to: Food Pantries, Backpack Program, Shenandoah Women's Center, Children's Home Society, Hockat for humanity

Education Committee
(Meets as monthly)
This committee is tasked with the overall education of local real estate agents. They put on events for continuing education, lunch and learns, and technology training. As well as providing scholarship funds to local high school students.

Forms & Legal Review Committee
(Meets as monthly)
This standing closed committee shall be comprised of
primary members of the Eastern Panhandle Board of
Realtors with a minimum of five (5) consecutive years as a licensed real estate professional. The committee meets to review, develop, and make only necessary changes to existing Board-sponsored forms. Members are by invitation only.

Legislative/RPAC Committee
(Meets as needed)
This committee coordinates with the WAR concerning
legislation issued by the WV legislature, informs Directore and general membership of the status of pending REALTOR® legislation. Legislation also handles some specific projects, such as petitioning different agencies to change legal guidelines for
loan programs (i.e., Health Dept checks). Information gathering for general membership. RPAC handles projects to ensure members are aware of what their RPAC contributions are used for and create funds drives to increase the RPAC donations.

Lockbox Committee
(Meets as needed)
This standing committee meets as needed to review issues, concerns, and options of the Electronic Lockbox System.

Membership Committee
(Meets as monthly)
This standing committee is by appointment only and meets. monthly. The Membership Coordinator instructs the committed about new solicitations. Membership would be responsible lor ony recruitment of affiliate members. Membership is also responsible for ensuring that the Designated RrAllOn is properly submitting dues for all employees in their firms
Subcommittees include. bylaws/Policy. REALTOR Protection, REALTOR Safety Awards

Nominating Committee
(Meets as needed)
This standing committee of a minimum of 3 members is appointed by the Executive Council Committee to gather a slate of officers and directors in accordance with the REALTOR* by-laws. As well as the slate for State Directors. Ine nominations are presented at the Board of Directors meeting

Programs Committee
(Meets as needed)
This committee meets as needed to plan the Social Events and Banquets or other assigned events. These events may include: Installation Banquets, Awards Celebration, and Annual Membership Meeting

Public Relations/Web Page Committee
(Meets as monthly)
This standing committee coordinates all media
advertising within the Board. Also reviews the current Board webpage to make recommendations to the webmaster and Board of Directors.

Strategic Planning Committee
(Meets as monthly)
This special committee meets every three years to evaluate factors that may influence the profession and the Association; it recommends programs, services, and solutions to meet the future needs of the members and the Association. The committee Chair shall be the President-Elect, and the vice chair shall be the Vice President for the next calendar year.
